night nausea

That must be so unpleasant for you and you can't be getting much sleep either. So you don't feel nausea any other time -just in the night? Could it be acid reflux do you think? Do you get a heartburny feeling too, or just nausea? It made me wonder because you say you try to sleep on lots of pillows.
Elevating the head of your bed by about 6-8 inches can help if it's reflux. Do you try any remedies for the nausea? Ginger tea can work or nibbling on a piece of fresh or crystallised ginger.
It might help if you don't eat any food for quite a few hours before you go to bed.
I used to feel weird nausea every morning ONLY when I got into the bath, and otherwise I didn't. Even changing bathwater temperature made no difference. I learned to get in, quickly scrub down, and get out asap. Then suddenly that symptom stopped and hasn't come back. I hope yours will.
Nausea can be a sign of gases building up in your system and can be related to IBS. However, actually being sick isn't a normal sign of IBS. Please discuss these symptoms with your GP since they may want to run some tests.
It does sound like an acid problem. Do you get a sore throat too. Being sick every night is not right I think you need to contact GP and get it checked out
You might not need a camera it is still worth checking it out
