Since Christmas I've been having chronic Ibs cramps I already take antispasmodic tablets and paracetamol. Is it safe to take paracetamol every day? Does anyone else have this much discomfort every day?

Yes, mine is daily but I find paracetamol doesn't do a lot of good, so most of the time I don't take anything!
Hi I take paracetamol at night sometimes but i can tell you my mum is in her 80s has had IBS all her adult life and now she is on antispasmodics, gabapenting for pain and also takes a dose of paracetamol almost everyday but what she absolutely swears by is a warm hot water bottle on her tummy to ease cramps…. Hope you soon feel better
I have constant pain every day and night, no sleep. What do you take for pain?
I take Dicycloverine 20mg and paracetamol and drink mint tea and use a hot water bottle. I'm on a wheat and lactose free diet. I also from time to time feel nausea and when I have a flare up don't want to eat much. I eat toast, mashed plain potatoes, plain biscuits and sometimes fish (plain) until after a bought a week I start introducing other foods like poached eggs etc. Good luck it's all trial and error everyone is different.
