The last 18 months throughout the pandemic have proved extremely challenging for the charity. theibsnetwork.org/

We received significantly more calls and emails from members of our community struggling to cope with their IBS and the uncertainty of life in a pandemic.

Our team of four people, (yes, just four of us), worked harder than ever to make sure we were there for everyone who needed us. We made sure we spoke to everyone who wanted one-to-one support, we returned every call, sent regular emails to our community to ensure no one felt isolated and alone, and we worked with our growing team of specialist clinicians to ensure you were getting the right advice when you asked. We also made sure our online shop was fully stocked with supplies getting to those who needed them.

There were some long days and lots of challenges, but the team worked tirelessly to support you and the IBS community. We want to continue to be here for you in the future, but with challenging economic times ahead for the charity, there are no guarantees.

As a national charity we rely on the money raised through memberships, product sales and donations. We DO NOT receive any funding from the government or the NHS.

Our priorities, as the national charity supporting people living with IBS, are to raise awareness of the condition to help break down the taboos and to continue to support our members and the wider IBS community beyond the pandemic and into better times.

We are determined to do everything we can to protect and sustain The IBS Network, ensuring our continuing support for those who need us.

But we are not able to continue without your support.

Today, we want to ask if you would be willing to send a donation to help us continue supporting our community into the future.

Your gift would help us give people living with IBS the support they need to live well with IBS.

So please, send whatever donation you can today and help keep our dedicated team doing what they do best — supporting people living with IBS.

There are a number of ways you can donate, you can:

donate online theibsnetwork.org/donate/

send a cheque to The IBS Network, Unit 1.16 SOAR Works, 14 Knutton Road, Sheffield, S5 9NU

or

call us in the office on 0114 272 3253.

Thank you so much for your donation and for everything you do to support The IBS Network.

With very best wishes

Alison, Liz, Sam and Kelsey
