My GP suspects I may have ibs or coeliac diesease , however I've not had an official diagnosis for either and my dr also said they are not doing blood tests for coeliac for atleast another month due to covid.

I've not been sleeping well (literally only had 3 hours) and then had a bout of diarrhoea and then my tummy feels uncomfortable and almost like I have to go again. This has been the pattern for the last two weeks for me and I'm so fed up.

I do suffer with health-related anxiety due to a cancer diagnosis back in 2018 but I can say that I have been in remission since late 2018 and noticed during times of medical appointments approaching then I would have a flare but I think what really triggered my symptoms was my recovery from a c-section I had in 2020.

It started with acid-reflux and a prickly pain after drinking and eating so I was prescribed gaviscon and my symptoms eased but a couple of weeks later I started having bloating, constipation, runny stools and generally feeling unwell.

I am so frustrated because every time I go to see a medical professional as soon as they see anxiety in my health history they completely disregard anything else I tell them.

Any advice on how I can manage my symptoms or get a gp to refer me to an appropriate medical professional because I honestly am at my wits end.

Thanks for reading.

You should ask your doctor for a stool test to look for bacteria , infection , blood etc that’s the least they should be doing depending on the results that’s when you should ask for a colonoscopy , don’t give up keep pestering your doctor there are treatments out there you need to ask/ demand them ! You get forgotten about otherwise x
