Pain

Hi! I have had IBS for over 30 years and have learned to cope with it but for the last few months have had a lot more pain. I wake feeling hardly any pain, sometimes a little bit in right side but after a bowel movement my whole abdomen feels sore and that sticks with me all day. It’s really uncomfortable and makes me feel miserable. Anyone else experience this?

Though I haven't had this exact experiance I have had simillar. I got pain after going loo but it eases after an hour or two. This is very rare though. If it stays a while i would consider seeing a GP. Hope this helps sorry I couldn't help more.

I have this, alongside consistent right iliac fossa pain. I just deal with it, have had some tests and am waiting for a gastro referral in October. It's hell.

Definitely will Maureen. I saw a colorectal surgeon privately last week who said it's likely IBS but recommended a colonoscopy, I hope they refer me to one on the NHS in October as it's nearly 2k privately. Also about to start IVF treatment soon, it's an impending nightmare.
