I’m sorry for such an icky question but IBS sufferers are the only ones who understand lol!
I’ve had IBS for 23 years. It’s gotten much worse the last 4/5 years. In the summer of 2019 I had an ultra sound scan, a ct scan and a colonoscopy and gastroscope. Nothing was found and I was told yep it’s ‘just’ IBS.
My ‘just’ IBS affects me every day. Sometimes I’m constipated, sometimes diarrhoea and often somewhere in between. I get constant growling and grumblings guts, way too much gas up and down, bloating, pain (usually gas related), indigestion, acid and lots of belching.
Often when I wipe there is a yellow/clear mucus on the paper. Sometimes nothing. Sometimes it’s more brown/yellow. But this morning it was quite bright orange mucus on the paper (stool looked normal and couldn’t see any mucus on it).
I am really alarmed as I haven’t eaten anything with orange in it.
Has anyone else had this? I’m worried I have something going on with one of my upper digestive organs (I am a huge worrier!)
