Diagnosed with diverticulitis 5 years ago normally constipated, but recently after eating ice cream or fresh cream products I get diarrhoea a couple of hours later, wondering now if I also have ibs..can anyone relate?

Yes! That would do it for me too...I can have some ice cream but only the expensive ones and I don't like cream
I have suffered with IBS D for years and if I eat ice cream or any cream I suffer bad with diarrhoea. But at the moment I have changed from constant diarrhoea to been constapated which I have never had in the 28 years of having IBS D. So I guess our bowel issues change for no reason .
Try Swedish glacé dairy free.Ice cream is up there second to alcohol for ibs
