I have IBS and fibroids but put recent stomach and back ache down to that. Went to drs after starting to go to the toilet at night. After some antibiotics those symptoms have gone. Turns out I had a UTI.
So easy to put things down to existing medical conditions.

Can be interstitial cystitis as well - that's the one caused by damage to the bladder and not bacteria so ab's don't work. Quercetin helps with interstitial and its very often linked to IBS and the cause of the back pain.
Hi Babbling Brook, I find GPs do that all the time with me, until I tell them it is something different which needs invg. We know our own bodies more than anyone else and can feel when something extra going on.
