Nerva app, anyone?

Has anyone tried the Nerva app for IBS-C?

Yes: my NHS gastro clinic specialist dietician asked me to at least give Nerva a go, despite the cost, because she needed to ‘tick that box’ in my records & she feels the alternative NHS IBS app isn’t as good as Nerva.

So I got the Nerva app & did the free 7 day trial: it seems really good to me, & if I hadn’t been trained years ago to use this approach alongside all the other self help-lifestyle techniques I’ve relied on for decades, I’d have paid the Nerva fee & continued to use the App. The voice that leads you through the Nerva ‘process’ is the best voice I’ve ever heard in one of these meditation/self hypnosis-type recordings: this counts for a lot to me

Some background: I’m 67 & my primary multisystem immune dysfunction & connective tissue disorder comorbidities are childhood onset, as were my progressively debilitating mouth to exit GI issues, I’ve never been diagnosed with IBS, but the stuff I manage day to day has enough in common with IBS for me to value this forum. My GI issues have now progressed into chronic intestinal failure + severe slow transit obstipation

As Barnclown says, please let us know what you think of Nerva. I too have tried many other things like this.
