IBS type pain possibly a hernia?

Hi, I’ve been having abdominal pain for 3 months now. Just came out the blue. All my scans were clear, but upon examination the gastroenterologist said I have a hernia near my belly button, he immediately dismissed it as definitely not the source of my issues. I can’t even see it but feel very mild pain when examining the area.

Last week, after all my scans and blood tests were clear I was put in the IBS category

I have problems lifting or carrying almost anything and have a winded type feeling like I’ve been hit in tummy most of the time. I have no other symptoms that could be associated with IBS, although I’m aware there’s a constellation of symptoms.

Could the doctor be passing over on this hernia issue to quickly as a source of my pain?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated?

There is a simple stretching exercise that you can try to ease the hernia(if it is one) back down into it proper station. This only applies to stomach hernias that have partially breeched the diapharm shealth.I cant explain it here....so here is link to one source...there are different exercises for different parts of the abdomen so work out which its likely to be....lots of tutorials to be found.m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Wgyl...

Hope you find some relief with this suggestion.Best wishes.

This could be gall bladder related or a spasm in the pyloric valve.Poor gall bladder function will cause constipation. You can improve bile production with aloe vera with digestive enzymes (Optima-Amazon) this is very good for constipation too.If you have stones then unsweetened apple juice (malic acid) can soften stones. Some people opt for apple cider vinegar.

Pyloric valve is the bottom valve of the stomach ...heat and massage can often release the spasm....and free the knot related symptoms.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=bAviP... believe Dr Eric Berg shows the best pressure points for different parts of the digestive system, if this is related to hernia or idiopathic spasms.Best wishes for a return to being symptom free.

You probably need to ask your doctor about a possible hernia, and see if she can check it out. I have a hernia in my groin, which is a different place to you but it needs to be dealt with seperately. Can be caused by straining too if u have constipation
