Hi, I’ve been having abdominal pain for 3 months now. Just came out the blue. All my scans were clear, but upon examination the gastroenterologist said I have a hernia near my belly button, he immediately dismissed it as definitely not the source of my issues. I can’t even see it but feel very mild pain when examining the area.
Last week, after all my scans and blood tests were clear I was put in the IBS category
I have problems lifting or carrying almost anything and have a winded type feeling like I’ve been hit in tummy most of the time. I have no other symptoms that could be associated with IBS, although I’m aware there’s a constellation of symptoms.
Could the doctor be passing over on this hernia issue to quickly as a source of my pain?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated?
