Hip/pelvic pain?

Hi everyone,

So I woke up today with really strange pain I’ve never experienced before.

The pain is what woke me up.

It was this very deep aching and sort of burning sensation that circled all around my hip front to back not just the sides.

It was so strange I don’t even know how to explain it.

It was so painful that i felt like i was getting up from an accident like some trauma has taken place.

Anyone ever experience this?

no, but if you still have it tomorrow, call your doctor.

Yeah I probably will bring it up to my doctor, it stopped after like 5 minutes but it’s been on my mind since.

Pelvic pain, I have it too and is one of the many symptom you can suffer from when you have IBS.

☹️ Look for "beyond the bowel" on this website med.unc.edu/ibs/patient-edu... There are a lot of "all over the body symptoms" reported by IBS patients. For me it was an eye opener. Pelvic pain isn't in this list, I found it in other articles. Also missing depression, anxiety and panic attacks (gut brain axis), brain fog, concentration and memory problems, tinnitus, etc.

Yes I have had it for a couple of weeks. It could be a bladder infection, PR or just another IBS symptom.

I started with a low left cramping pain in dec it was like toothache that escalated to the point of not being able to tolerate it after some investigations pelvic ultrasound etc which was clear I've just had a ct colonoscopy as it kind of looks like diverticulis pain which I had no knowledge of..but as I'm 61 and prone to constipation I'm waiting to get a letter off the consultant..so maybe you should look at this depends on your age etc but it seems very common I had no idea how common till I joined a forum..jx

Thank you so much for sharing with me, I’ll definitely look into that, I have IBS so it’s possible!

So turns out mine isnt diverticulitis as scan was clear of any abnormalities so its suppose to ibs although not had any pain last week so its baffling they spotted a tiny cyst on my pancreas said to go back in 12 months to check it's not grown ..although no pain from that..5mm.so you never know till u have a ct with contrast what you have going on inside you I guess we age we get these cysts buy obviously they need to be checked out..these ct.s with contrast are very precise x

I have been having some pain right next to my left hip bone that is hanging around this morning. It’s just one spot. I was wondering what in the heck it was myself. I do have diverticulosis and had a bout with diverticulitis...this doesn’t feel similar to that for me thank goodness. I hope you are feeling better!
