Post eradication therapy

Has anyone continued with any PPI post h pylori eradication therapy and if so for how long and at want dose?

When in the end did you begin to feel better

Yes I was was on there for over two months 40 mg per day. It can take several months for your symptoms to slowly get back to normal. Very common to think you still have it!

Strange thing is after eradication therapy I went down from 40mg to 20mg for 2 weeks felt better so reduced it further to 10mg. But recently it all has flared up again so increased it back to 20mg daily but now even that is not working.

Having too much acidity which keeps me in pain for most of the day

Just thought I’d try some pro biotics not really a believer but the other day I got some from Holland and Bs and is making a big difference already! Don’t know if this is just me but the last of the symptoms have seem to have vanished. 😀(Acidophilus 20 billion )
