Vraylar-an antipsychotic that works

I was having stomach aches during the day and during the night. I am so depressed now.

It is very expensive and my psychiatrist was giving me free samples for something else, depression. Just found out that he can't give me them all the time and I will have to buy some. I really can't afford them. I am so miserable because once I started taking them, the pains went away. It didn't help the constipation.

It got triggered when my best friend died. I am wondering if I should try drinking. since it is from stress.

Good afternoon Booby, I have only just seen your post. If you are having stomach ache , is it worse after eating? I used to suffer with this all the time, in my case it was low stomach acid that was the cause and is cheap enough to deal with : >

I am so sorry about your best friend, it must be very difficult and like with everything stress makes illnesses/ pains etc worse

I hope you feel better soon

thank you so much. I was having pain day and night and I think it was purely stress.

when I started Vraylar, I am also bipolar, magically all the pain went away. It is expensive and I am going to try to get it from the manufacturer for nothing. Wish me luck,

What did you use? Did it solve your problems?

Hi, an alternative for ibs symptoms and pain management is anatriptyline - sorry bad spelling - this is clinically proven and easily available from gps. It calms nerves in the gut and at high enough levels is also an antidepressant. I also find something as simple as peppermint really helps with bowel pain. Much better than alcohol since this is a depressant.

I do very much hope you feel better soon.

I am sorry your having all that pain. When I was having constant stomach acid, which was made worse after eating, whatever I ate would lay like a boulder in my stomach for hours and hours, the bloating and pain was not the only problem that was causing, because the food was staying in the gut undigested for many hours, it was fermenting and feeding bad bacteria in the gut, so then an overgrowth of candida because a massive problem, and yes treating the low stomach acid worked a treat, I used HCL with Pepsin with food.

Liz has suggested Amitriptyline which might be worth a try, that helps with my IBS, I only take it once a week (due to side effects) to help with sleep. Doctors do prescibe this for IBS sufferers - might be worth looking into.

Best wishes

Debs
