Hi guys, anyone experience siatica, back pain, nerve pain, groin pain with their IBS.

Have had IBS since my twenties, now in my 50's and just seem to be suffering .

Had all kinds of tests done, all normal, but in constant pain of late.

Have notice more pain with my spasms and been worse since i has a colonoscopy, wasn't sure if it could have upset the nerves in the colon.

Any advice ??

Hi

I had exactly the same had an MRI turned out I have a pinched nerve deteriorating lower back discs and osteoarthritis so all that really kicks off my IBS. Have had steroid injections but they dont last but now im on Tramadol so that helps it all.

Get checked im 55 :(

Hi, Yes, I have all those symptoms. I also have arthritis in my SI joints and lumbar region. I have had the leg, hip and sciatica since my 40's and dr. just said "sciatica" caused it. I think the left side of colon is very close to the sciatic nerve and they both interact with each other. When you feel those symptoms, sit with your affected leg up and rest it...might help ease off the sciatica. Good Luck!

Sorry to hear that. I had ibs so bad about 10 yrs ago that my lower back hurt, and the pain went down both legs too. I went to see dr. and he told me it was ibs and that I should take my librax to help relax the muscles. Seems you could be suffering the same. Go back to dr. and ask for more help, as if they see you still have the symptoms, they might dig deeper.
