My initial thoughts are, you really should contact a dietician before starting on any medical or radical diet regime.
Hi you should know if your allergic to things rather than intolerant. Allergies and intolerances are two different things.
The main thing with allergies is there's usually some kind of definite physical reaction. Like rashes, shortness of breath, vomiting, diarrhoea to full on anaphylaxis. Intolerances are generally less evident by comparison.
If you have no known allergies then don't put any down. The FODMAP App will help determine what you may be intolerant to. Again like FReedman said, you really need to speak to a qualified dietitian first.
Agree with the advice offered on this chain. The path you need to take starts with your doctor so that blood tests and possibly other examinations can be made to ensure it's nothing more serious than allergies or IBS.
If your doctor diagnosis IBS then they should refer you to a dietitian. They would be able to guide you in relation to fodmap or other suitable therapeutic paths. At that point it could be appropriate to have an App as a support tool that could help to guide you.
