Does anyone know where I can find some good robust articles on the relationship between anxiety and IBS? Particularly related to IBD.
It’s for something work related
Thanks All!

The trouble is the worse the IBS, the worse the stress....the worse the stress, the worse the IBS. It's a vicious circle. If you think its stress rather than food related, then hypnosis would be useful. As For IBS, I hope your GP has told you to keep on a low formal diet. Are you dairy or yeast intolerant? If you are already aware of your intolerances and are on a low formal then I would recommend you stop eating fruit and tomatoes just for 10 days to see what happens. Good luck.
No, I m looking for research articles for a work dispute
And I already did the whole diet thing a year and a half ago! For over a year! No yeast no gluten no sugar it healed but it healed coz the anxiety dissipated I m sure. I still had it in Sept then it went. I had it May 2017 till Sept 2018.
I also took probiotics then went onto making my own and eating prebiotic foods like garlic and onion I think it was. Whatever I did it worked; now I just have constipation sometimes when I eat the wrong stuff like bread
I m going to start Aflorax soon when and if I get it through from the IBS Society; I joined recently and I ordered the free trial Aflorex weeks ago! But it hasn’t even arrived yet???!!!
The best place to find scientific papers (rather than someone's opinion or hearsay) is scholar.google.com. I have done the search for you: IBD + stress. The results are below - there are tons of studies:
If you actually meant IBS-D rather than IBD. Here is the search results for that too in google scholar:
Did you mean IBS-D? Because IBS-D or -C (irritable bowel syndrome- Diarrhea or -Constipation) are different than IBD (inflammatory bowel disease).
I know it's confusing because many of the symptoms are the same, but two different problems.
