Ibs medications
As the effect he of IBS are so different to say and everyone of us, so is the treatment. There is no wonder drug, but your IBS consultant and team will take into account all the symptoms you show, as well as the exceptions you have indicated.
I haven't found any particular wonderdrug, but I would say the best advice would be to find out what food is upsetting your bowel. With there being differen't types of IBS and differen't causes for everyone its not such an easy question to answer. I have used Senocalm from boots and I found that did calm things down for me, Peppermint oil is said to be helpful, I wonder if drinking peppermint Tea might help too
Best wishes

Peppermint oil capsules and wind-eze seems to help me x
I take normal paracetamol if I get pain as nothing else works. When I get nausea I take travel sick tablets.
I agree with Kitten-whiskers to find out what food is upsetting you. I know I cannot eat raw carrots or onions. I also can't eat 'normal' bread i.e. bread made with yeast and flour with gluten but I can tolerate sourdough bread which has no yeast, I also make my own with Spelt flour as the IBS Network said it's possible that those with IBS could tolerate it more as it has less fructans.
I hope you find what's upsetting you.
It depends on whether your IBS is constipation or diarrhea dominant or mixed. Have you been referred by your GP to a fodmap trained dietitian?
See your GP everyone is different. I find it's a very fine balance act
