I find l don’t go for 3 or 4days then have to take something to help an end up with d. Then the cycle repeats. If l don’t take something l know l will spend night in toilet with ibs pains trying to go until I have clear out!! Can’t eat lots of fibre as gives me full blown d. fod map retricts my veg fruit intake . Any ideas greatly appreciated xxx

Be very aware that if pain changes, as just happened to me, remember last time you passed wind and note it down. If no further wind for upwards of 6 hours go to A&E. You May have a blockage. I did and have now had 10 and1/2 hours surgery to sort me out. Hey ho off we go again. Long road to recovery starts now.
