I would like any advice regarding home enema kits. I tried a few Flint kits a few years ago but they were not strong enough for me. Basically I ALWAYS have to take a laxative in order to 'go'. I alternate between dulcolax liquid and a suppository. However sometimes I need a break from laxatives and have to find a new way to go to the toilet. By the way the Dr's aren't interested in referring me to a specialist and basically I have to just find what works. So I am thinking of trying an enema. Any advice or suggestions please?

I have the peristeen system. It was prescribed by the biofeedback nurse. I don't buy it as comes on prescription. It is supplied by coloplast. I don't think they would supply it unless you are referred by a health professional. Maybe change your doctor if you can and ask to be referred to biofeedback.
