CELERY JUICE

Anyone tried celery juice - it can be made in a jiffy if you have a juicer. It is said to do a lot of good things for the body and help digestion.

I am trying it - just start of with a low amount first and work up. Start with juicing three sticks of celery and add one more each time as your stomach needs to get used to the new minerals and enzymes gradually. It needs to be had on an empty stomach for best effect - at least 30 mins before any food.

If you cant juice it first thing in the morning then do it the night before and store it in the fridge for the morning. 24 hours max to keep though - best fresh.

Some people go up to 16 oz (475 ml) a day I am fine with about 6oz at present as I dont want to to overdo it too soon. People may have some bowel symptoms the first two or three days and then its fine but go easy at first. It helps IBS C and may help D after a while ? I dont know. Check it out on the web.

The medical medium introduced it and if you look at his performance on TV he seems to be real and knowlegable. He diagnosed his grandmothers lung cancer at the age of 5 not knowing what the words meant. His story is so incredible that I believe it must be true! i don't think you could make it up as your family would be in uproar if you did! But I leave it for others to decide.

The only negative review I have read said it may make the body more sensitive to UV light due to a chemical compound naturally in the juice I am not sure about this but just to say maybe be careful to wear sunscreen if so. Check it out for yourself.

Has anyone else tried having CELERY JUICE and their responses to it would be good?

Good for acid reflux as well apparently.

FRUIT EATING :

Also I have discovered that eating fruit straight after a main meal is a bad idea as the fruit digests quickly - I have now read - in maybe half an hour and the rest of the meal is not yet digested so it is taken along further half digested. This may well cause reflux.

Having separated my eating of fruit from the rest of my meal by preferably two hours I have had no acid reflux for a last few days. This is important to know and hope it helps others. I need my fruit but not mixed with other food!
