I have variable IBS C and D but am mainly having problems with constipation at the moment. I do go to the loo several times a day but have to strain and always feel there is something left behind. Glycerin suppositories help but aren`t comfortable to use so I am trying Micralax mini enemas instead. Today was the first time and it was very effective but an hour later I still have stomach and back ache and don`t feel great generally. I won`t be using them every day - only when necessary. It would be helpful to hear other people`s experiences of using mini-enemas
(Please don`t give me dietary or laxative advice - I`ve tried all of that and it doesn`t work for me)

But when I tried and tried to go I was crying and crying and no one understands how awful it is
I ended up having to squat on the floor that position helped me push out solid hard stoles and blood everywhere this went on for a year and I drunk as much water as I could Everytime blood clots
I bought a bucket so to get into a lower position and still have to do this but I eventually found that if I drunk at least 3 pints of larger I was able to go later that evening
By the time the doctor seen me
and I gave a sample of my stoles
There was no blood anymore but still get piles from time to time
I am so glad I know how to cure this now I was so miserable
