As to the post I put on about red meat. This is about how many times I go to the toilet. When I am at work I go about once or twice I do work in a stressful environment being a chef. I just been Scotland for a get away a de stress and I found i went more regularly three times a day no troubles and perfect evertime and colour. And now I am back at work it's gone back to going once maybe twice and different colours. Is this how ibs works?. Getting fed up now

Stress undoubtedly has a negative impact. You could read up about the gut brain connection. It is a real thing. Also, consider your diet and try to eat to support your gut microbes. Extra veg could help. Something that seems to work for me at the moment is a teaspoon of raw local honey first thing in the morning. Long may it last. We are all different, but that is something simple to try. Best wishes.
