Has anyone had that much pain thinking that your appendix is bursting. I’m panicking at the idea and I’m always checking my appendix and I know it’s my IBS!

Yes I have! Like you I know it's my ibs or backup of stool in the area, but I'm constantly jumping up and down or pushing really hard to see if it hurts on release!! Trust me it's not just you! I used to go to doc Everytime it hurt!!

I have IBS and I’ve also had appendicitis. One of the big kickers for me was that the pain hurt while walking, it hurt after you touched the area and during pressure on the area, and I had absolutely no appetite whatsoever. I had to force myself to eat and when I did I had excruciating pain in my stomach which migrated and localized in the lower right abdominal quadrant. Also, appendicitis pain is especially felt when you’re laying on your back, if you pull your right leg towards you. Although sometimes I have IBS pain (I have IBS-C) that does mimic the symptoms of appendicitis pain/constipation wise, the localization with appendicitis pain and the complete lack of appetite I had were unlike anything IBS has ever caused me.
