Anyone has high calprotectin and sharp pain near appendix ?

Only slightly high, and the pain comes and goes and varies. Sometimes sharp, sometimes burning, sometimes dull ache.

Sorry I mean C reactive protein was a bit high. Your marker is for IBD so they should give you colonoscopy.

That’s really good news as you don’t want an IBD. No more tests lined up then? I’m hoping antibiotics will help me.

I’ve had antibiotics but no different, I’m thinking it’s ovarian cyst. I’m waiting for a pill cam

No, I need to swallow a cam to check small intestine. My GI is hopeless though , I can’t get hold of any test results and no one is calling me back. I’m waiting on X-ray, bloods and urine test results from 2 weeks ago

Hi did you find out what was wrong I have exactly the same symptoms and a high calprotectin. I had an ovarian cyst they removed first but still got bowel problems. Colonoscopy clear just waiting for biopsy & small bowel mri. Hope they help you
