Just had my appointment it went really well it was more like a therapy session as the doctor was more concerned with my diet rather than my BMI

It sounds like you have a great doctor that is actually taking the time to CARE....and actually TALK to you... So I'm happy for you there! I am sure he is trying to find possible food items that could be triggering (not causing but triggering) your ibs... other than that and possibly a few meds that work now and then for some...there is very little a dr can do... because ibs cannot be 'cured' only hopefully helped a lot!! Thanks I still have a problem eating food at night but my doctor told me not to worry about snack meals as long as I do not put excessive weight on Gail
