Constipation solution

It's so rarely talked about, but the solution could be as simple as removing ALL dairy and milk protein containing products from your diet! It took me 35 years of chronic constipation to get to this. The first memory I have about being constipated is from when I was so little, that my feet wouldn't touch the floor when I was sitting on the toilet. I was probably 4 or 5 years old, and I would be in so much pain and crying. At first, my parents looked for a solution, then I grew, and started looking for a solution on my own. I went to countless different doctors! The internet got bigger, and I started reading all there was to read...I changed my diet, my habits, my whole life, I drank gallons of water and it all had minimum impact.

Then I stumbled across this article that said that non-IGE mediated milk protein allergy could be the problem. The milk protein paralyses the colon. I tried cutting back on dairy products. Some days were better, some were not. Than I realized that my 8 year old niece has IGE mediated milk protein allergy, and she gets an immediate and vivid reaction from a very small amount of milk protein. And tried her diet - absolutely no dairy and milk protein containing products. After almost 2 weeks, when I was beginning to loose all hope, it all changed! I am now regular, like clockwork, no matter what I eat or what I do - except for eating dairy.

The only products I tolerate are those that say on the label "may contain traces of milk". Otherwise, I react to the smallest amounts of milk protein containing products like pastry, chocolate, etc. So it's not just drinking a cup of milk or eating some cheese. It's ALL products containting milk. Pay attention to the labels! It may seem hard at first, but It's not, really. There are so many options now. And if you ever feel like you're gonna die if you don't eat that slice of pizza, just know that you CAN! You will become constipated again, it will take another 2 weeks to get back on track (no exaggeration), but it's not the end of the world. Been there, done that.

Not only my bowel movements changed - my general health is A LOT better, better than it ever was! My complexion changed, no more dark circles. No more sneezing in the morning, and my breathing got easier (even though I'm a smoker). I got stronger, more capable of fiscal effort, and I'm less tiered.

The problem with non-IGE mediated food allergy is that you can't get tested, and the symptoms onset is delayed and it varies for each individual. So the only approach is a "trial and error" type of thing. But, in the end, it's completely harmless.

So, try this for at least 2 weeks. It won't cost anything and it doesn't come with any side effects (if it works, than you will have to take care and adapt your diet so that you get your calcium, proteins and probiotics from other sources than dairy). Of course, it is strongly advised to talk to your doctor before you make any big changes!

Hope to have helped someone else with the same problem...
