Does anyone experience bloating and rapid weight gain when taking constella?

Hi all,

I am struggling with pain and erratic weight gain at the moment. I go through periods of time where no matter how little I eat, I put on 1-2 llbs overnight. I also feel bloated and puffy skinned.... i am taking constella to help with chronic constipation but i am wondering if this is causing my bloating.... if anyone can help me, I would be so grateful....

Hi, you might want to search Linzess --that is the US brand of the same drug (linaclotide) plenty more user reviews. I have just started that med too, for a week, but diarhea for hours and that is not practical when i have a day job and have to leave the house. I had to stop it. I wasnt on it long enough to encounter any weight gain. I was on Resotran for 2 years, till it stopped working. But those 2 years were great, worked awesome. No weird side effects for me. Good luck!
