I won’t take any thing with side effects. Right now for IBS in the morning I drink a glass of water with INULATION ( prebiotic) mixed in one capfull of sea aloe ( whole food vitiamin). And some black elderberry juice extract. Then I take 4 capsules of Body biotics (pro biotic) one allagany digestive enzyme, one moducare tablet and one glutamine tablet. Moducare helps with immune system as the black elderberry does too. The glutamine helps with the muscle spasm in the gut. The rest put healthy stuff in the gut. Then I manage my food with a what I eat as I have a list of foods that I am intolerant to or allergic. I still have IBS but I can live with it now with not to much trouble. Stress has a lot to do with flare ups so I try to keep, that low. Your gut is all out of whack so getting natural stuff in it will help you control it better. I won’t do doctor recommended drugs as they all have side effects and I am usually allergic to most of them. I also take Thymex from standard processing in the evening for immune system help with other things for different reasons. I also make lions mane mushroom for nervous system and brain health as I have. Nervous stomach which can go along with IBS and cause IBS D now I am in the middle with IBS D and C so I am more normal

I have severe mental illness and definitely need to be on a cocktail of meds. I have a very bad chemical imbalance. Can't do herbs, because of drug interaction. I'm glad you found something that works. I did try the "Natural" route once for major depressive disorder and BPD, amino acids, SAME, GABA, L- thianine..but it stopped working within a month or two..not strong enough for me. I have a lot of diagnosis. I'm glad you found something that works..☺

These drugs are ‘monoclonal Antibodies’. It’s nothing new. They’ve been around for quite some time. Tough stuff with some tough side effects that would scare me.

Some of the "Natural" stuff..is not really "natural" and can actually be dangerous. No one knows what's really in these things, where they come from, no quality inspection or FDA regulation..be careful! Lots of side effects on them too..I tried them all. I'm on Seroquel, Wellbutrin XL, Remeron, Klonopin, Busphar..have been on these for a long time..all blood tests came back good, had very few side effects at first, but they went away.

I went to a kinesiology and she explained everything I am taking and what it does and it’s all good no side effects that I have noticed. She muscle tested me first to make sure I could have it. I did not just take things with out a professional advice and it works for me. I am different then most my body is wired weird.

There’s absolutely nothing natural about ‘monoclonal antibodies’ !!! It’s clearly man-made ! The word may sound harmless but it’s not .... it’s tough stuff.

But, in addition, on the subject ‘natural’ I couldn’t agree more: Yes you’re right that a lot of the so-called ‘natural’ stuff can be quite dangerous. And that something is called ‘natural’ doesn’t mean anything and certainly doesn’t mean that it’s harmless

I don't know this new medicine. All I can share is that I have I.B.S. for 40 years now, sometimes with so much pain in my lower left abdomen, that there was a time that I was on the verge of suicide. It also go along with severe constipation. I also agree with Kimmiejo that stress is a big contributor to I.B.S. I have a very stressful job and also working shifts, sometimes 16 hours non stop. I only have one weekend of per month, so for me to prepare certain foods does not exist. There is not a medicine on the market that I have not tried and I think if I could have saved all the money i wasted, I could be rich by now. I also have a condition called Ankylosing spondylitis which even make it worse.

A while ago I went through some trauma when I lost my father and 2 brothers in a time frame of three weeks, from which my younger brother hanged himself. After arranging all the funerals and everything was done I found myself one morning with a really bad fever and I could hardly move. I went from hospital to hospital and eventually landed up in a mental hospital. I was put on anti-depressants and it even help for the I.B.S. pain.

I drink Wellbrutin in the morning and Adco Mirteron at night. All I can say is that I feel sorry for you and everybody else which is suffering with this horrible condition. I hope that there will be a solution for this problem one day. Hang in there because your not alone. Kind Regards.

There’s nothing new about this type of drug .... it’s ‘Monoclonal Antibodies’ and they’ve been around for decades. Those GI Consultants who are experts in IBS know that there is unfortunately no drug that can cure IBS. There’s not been much research done in this area. We’re still in the Middle Ages in this area. Doctors don’t know what IBS is nor what causes it nor how to cure it. Once they know what IBS actually is and what causes it .... then they will possibly have a chance to develop a drug to cure it.
