Got a gastro bug :(

Posted yesterday about a flare up after weeks being fine well I'm 99% certain it's not a flare up but a run of the mill gastro bug. Been up and down all night with completely liquid D, had joint aches and feel awful. Makes it worse is I'm away on holiday 😔😔 feeling very sorry for myself. Hope it passes quickly that's all.

I do hope it has eased and you are feeling better by now and can enjoy the rest of your holiday. It does sound like you've picked up a bug, doesn't it? Horrible for you.

Sounds very similar to a campylobacter (food poisoning) bout I had about 5 weeks ago, maybe get checked when you get home? Sorry this has happened on you holidays

Much better now. Think it was food poisoning as only lasted 36hours or so. Surly if it was campylobacter it'd be much worse?

Well, it could just be the ibs going nuts but just had another bout of d 3 days after recovering from food poisoning. Had slightly looser than normal bm last few days but ok then just now been and liquids again. Hoping it's just my body clearing the last of the bugs out. Really getting me down
