I do yoga ... its been a bit of a life saver for my back, albeit I now walk with a stick. I blame the ibs because the bloating has been so severe that it was pulling me forward and the problem is now permanent. I came off the amitriptyline as it was giving me headaches and a funny tummy. Of course now I have the diabetes its just as well im not taking amitriptyline as it would react with the tablets I need to take. Onwards and upwards though. Keep smiling :-)

Has the yoga helped your ibs at all?

I’ve found the amitriptyline a life save but it’s not for everyone I know. How awful about your back, I get what you mean though as it has me doubled over in pain too and then sometimes hurts to stand straight again...I was putting it down to old age lol

Please keep smiling and keep going xxx

Hi Anna, its debatable if the yoga has helped my ibs, but my back was so curved and holding myself up especially when bloating was just getting worse. The yoga has made me stonger and the meditation has calmed me down. Its difficult to quantify, but I wouldn't go without it now. Of course ive been doing it for 18months and ive come a long way considering what I was like! Getting old is pants. Im 59, what about you?

Xx
