Fecal body odor along with ibs-c

I've been diagnosed with ibs for about 9 years now and I've been suffering with a fecal odor that has made my life he'll. Does anyone else has a fecal body odor and how are you solving your problem because i really need help. I am a 31 year old female so you can imagine how embarrassing this is. I take laxatives, probiotics, and shower everyday and nothing is helping. I hope someone could help me please.

Are you sure you are not imagining this? As for practical steps, take a shower every AM and if necessary, every PM. Also, do you have a bidet. If not, use a face cloth, or other cleansing material every time you have a BM. Also, could it just be gas?

It is probably the laxatives. Try the SCD diet. Also, you may need biofeedback. Laxatives can cause muscle problems. You may need to tighten the sphincter muscles .
