Is'a long time since I posted as 2016 was the worst year of my life. I had the operation for a duodenal cyst and unfortunately the duodenum was perforated.
I had DVT and am on anti coagulants forever now.
With all the antibiotics I was given C-dif.
However, a year later, whilst not 100% fit (as I still have the asthma; copd; ibsd), I walk a couple of miles a day (albeit not at speed.) I do Pilates and Yoga and I just wanted to let people know that you just have to keep going and eventually you actually enjoy your exercise and miss it if you are unable to go for some reason. So take heart folks and do what you can. (Oh, and I am getting on a bit too, so no excuses.) Good luck to you all.......
