Hospital beckons

So, Dr says I'venture probably gone beyond IBS so urgent appt with hospital to follow for maybe telescope or scan. Worrying times but need answers!

What's your symptoms at the moment?

I have had scopes and mri scans and they found it was colitis.

It's hard but try not to worry as it's all fixable .

Main thing is hellish bloating followed by a release of lots of gas . Dr reckons something could be blocking the bowel.

I had this last year and after a colonoscopy diagnosed with Diverticulosis. No help from the Hospital or GP though. Went privately to a food allergist, and excluded yeast and dairy. I am on FODMAP (for 3 years), and my symptoms have much improved. At least nothing sinister was found, although suggested by GP and Hospital!
