Hi to all,

I have bowels that will not move - one day they just stopped working (a few years ago now).

Through my GP various laxatives were tried - some with initial success (of sorts) however they quickly became ineffective - as if my non functioning system had worked out a way to block their effectiveness.

Along the way I heard of those with similar symptoms using enemas to facilitate bowel movements. I gave this ago and have now for a couple of years taken no medication but have taken regular enemas, now typically every other day.

Does any one on the forum have a similar experience?

I will try the silicon rich water and report back.

For a bowel evacuation have you tried Ballerina tea? Available on the Internet.
