Has anyone been tested for sibo (small intestinal bacteria owergrowth),I'm going to contact my last gastro dr to ask if he will do a test for it.It has a lot of IBS symptoms.

I was - the breath test version. Once we figured out that's what I had at that moment the medication and diet change (which I did temporarily) worked very well.

I didn't have SIBO symptoms for years and now I think I'm dealing with it again. I haven't asked to be tested yet so this is unofficial.

This is the IBS board so I'll be honest and gross. I get foamy bowels when the SIBO is high. Stomach gurgling nonstop, and even more when I lay down.

my stomach also makes terrible noises ,when im having a flair it also sounds as if its growling,and I have enough gas to blow a hot air balloon up lol.I'm also worse when I lie down especially if I lie on my side I start feeling sick and have to sit up and take charcoal capsules.
