Vega Testing.

Hi everyone,

Went for Vega testing last Friday. It found no food allergies but the practitioner decided my IBS was more mental or from the Head as she put it. She agreed I might be sensitive to some foods but did not think that the real cause.

I was prescribed four bottles of pills--Celloid Mineral Therapy, to rectify my health. Nothing really serious found. It picked up on some soft tissue problems ,sciatica and nasal congestion but nothing about IBS. She said at one point IBS goes into Crohn's disease.

Early results are --more prolific stomach pain and Diahorrea . Personally very sceptical about all this , seemed like a lot of mumbo jumbo. Having spent about £190 on this treatment , testing and consultation , I will persevere and see what develops.

Will keep you all posted after a few weeks.

Hope this is usful.

I'm no expert but I had a Vega test,I wasn't very impressed either. But one thing I do know is how you could be told IBS turns into Crohn's disease ,is rubbish. Firstly because really there's no such thing as IBS, the S being a syndrome which means anything. I was once told by a doctor that IBS turns into cancer eventually, that was 25yrs ago,I'm still here.

Sorry to hear you guys didnt have a good experience, I think it really depends on the practitioner. I owe my life to Electrodermal testing (Voll’s). I lived a normal and healthy life until 10th grade when I suddenly found myself with in narcolepsy-like illness called KLS which basically caused me to be bedridden for a month at a time about every third month, being awake for only an hour per day and in that hour

I was unable to comprehend simple tasks like tying a shoe. I stayed in hospitals for several weeks at a time on multiple occasions and was put on many different types of drugs that never helped. I was skeptical that anything was going to help me but I had nothing to lose and life was miserable. After three years of trying all sorts of different things, I was worn and beaten down but recommended to an orthomoledular doctor who tested me for food sensitivities and nutritional deficiencies. Though doubtful, I tried his protocol anyways and after two weeks my body had changed drastically and after 3 weeks there was no sign of the illness whatsoever. I felt better than I ever remembered- even before I got the illness that sophomore year in high school. I noticed smaller benefits too, my acne disappeared, excema disappeared, stomach aches that I often got midday disappeared, and my mind was so clear i could focus so much better. I also had so much energy during the day, I just felt so great. Fast forward 10 years I am still following the advice I was given and still feel great. I rarely ever catch colds. The passed two years had terrible influenza bouts and despite everyone me being sick, I never got sick. I will say, I definitely think that you need to have a good practitioner in order to get the right results. Best of luck to all!

PS my mother and two cousins who also struggled with different illnesses and battled with different drugs and doctors with no success, also ended up trying the orthomoledular doctor and they were able to turn their lives around as well and become healthy and live normal lives. My mother had ulcerative colitis, my cousin had Crohn’s disease and my other cousin had severe allergies.
