I drink a lot of water every day as I'm sure most ibs suffers do. However, I notice a slight improvement in my bowel movements when I drink a litre of water as soon as I wake up (not all in one go, I drink the entire litre over an hour period whilst reading/watching TV/ scrolling on my phone) and as well as this , drinking a glass of ice cold lemon water after as well , this is important because lemon water really aids digestion . I know it seems like a lot of fluid but it helps 😊

I am happy this works for you, I do drink a lot of water , but after a while the lemon water was making me sick so I had to stop with lemon. I see a new gastro tomorrow hope he can help me.
Drinking ice cold water is one of the worst things you can do...especially if you are outside in extremely hot temperatures... A little bit cool (LITTLE BIT!) is ok...but NOT cold... it can cause horribly painful symptoms...
OK! Thing is, I know 'you know' what is best for YOU.... sometimes we tend to forget that... Actually it would be pretty weird if we all 'worked alike'.... a bit too much like "I, Robot" ...eh??? Best wishes to you!! Have a good day!
Try using half a squeezed lemon in warm water hour before breakfast , works for me , I have IBS c .going to try turmeric as heard it can help with IBS also . hope everyone might find this helpful . god. bless
