You could do your own intolerance tests
Leave one food group out of your diet at a tine like dairy, use non dairy products, and keep a food and bowel mvement diary to see what changes there might be - for at least 2/3 weeks
Thank you. I will try that. I have a feeling part of the issue is dairy, and caffeine. It will be tough to give both of,them up. Thanks for, your reply cricket queen.
Don't leave both out at the same time.
It's not easy giving up part of what you like
I was diagnosed 3 years ago at the age of 65 so for all that time I could eat what I wanted to but now I have a completely dairy free diet
I have in the past 3 weeks I have tried some very mature cheddar cheese and am pleased that it doesn't affect me
I will take your advice and delete just one food from my diet. I suppose it will be dairy. It will be torture tho. I love my ice cream, various cheeses, cottage cheese, and creamer In my decaf coffee. You are lucky. You were 65 when you were diagnosed. I've had this issue for at least 15 years. It just has gotten worse over the past 4'years and I am about to turn 64.
Good luck with it
Thsnks! I'll keep you posted. Appreciate your feedback.
