Rescue Remedy is useful for calming and anxiety
Have you tried dietary changes - for example eliminating be food group at a time ie dairy ?
I checked out the fobs diet list of foods good and bad and my existing diet includes lots of the good foods but also a few bad. I want to fine tune my diet and include more gluten free foods. I also need to reduce alcohol!
I'm a night owl so I tend to snack at night. This probably isn't a good idea either regardless of IBS!
I'm hopeless in the morning and this could be a real issue for me soon as I could be moving from self employment to a job and I can imagine all kinds of problems trying to get to work on time and having to attend meetings etc.
To me IBS is a mind over body if you worry about it you're going to get the symptoms. So lessening the anxiety is key!
Rescue Remedy might help your ibs in that it helps to calm you down and in that way might benefit you all the way around. It is strictly an emotional-calmer-downer!
Does it really work though? Calms, rescue remedy? Likewise its the anxiety that brings on my IBS
