Kefir Milk

I saw a. Post in here a while ago about Kefir milk and decided to try making it. Does anyone know - is it supposed to look like separated, curdled milk? It tastes sour. I don't drink much milk as I hate the taste so was going to make kefir ice cream.

Hi there. Yes it is supposed to look like curds. It needs to be strained every day and given more milk. Don't use metal strainer or container though as this reacts against it. It does taste awful and not everyone can cope with taste , although I have been told it grows on you.

My Polish physio tells me that he makes Kefir milk. He is going to give me some to try next week. I will report back when I have tried it.
