The only advise I've got is the Fodmap diet and if you think you've got a lactose problem or sugar problem tailor it down to suit you.Hope that's been of some help.
I recommend that you visit the site below, before going ahead and creating a whole new diet for yourself, as i believe drinking 100% stabilized Aloe Vera gel is all you will need:

Thanks but I did see Aloe vers gel today and it seemed just for skin application?
Thought you weren't supposed to be able to advertise on this site - you've certainly had a lot of emails on here lately advertising your product -
it was Laura100 who specified the products, not me. well, I checked out one at Holland & Barratt and it was for skin! not for gut problems so thought I should point that out to Laura100 person.

Hi Woodgut and polly- The stabilized Aloe Vera Gel is an exclusive product, produced by a company called Forever Living.
You will not find these products legally anywhere on the market.
So please stop referring to me as if I am advertising - I am apart of forever now to help ppl like you as it was someone like you that helped me with my IBS - if someone didn't give me access to this amazing natural resource I would still be in agony and just really unhappy inside an out.
You don't have to take my advice or even look into what I am saying but we are all online now- hence why I left the links- didn't want anyone to take my word for it, wanted you all to have access for yourselves. Look into company, read reviews etc
However it's your health, wish you both well x
As I understand it the Lactose test is not 100% reliable as my doctor told me last week. I thnk the only reliable tests are food elimination trials.
In my experience if you're doing a lactose/dairy diet you need to be completely dairy free for at least 2/3 weeks
Can't help with sugar apart from using a granulated substitute

Ask DiabetesUK. Ask the question. They are very helpful.
Forever aloe Vera gel didn't help my IBS & I was not given a refund as promised presumably because after a months supply I was then told I needed at least another month before I would see any improvement
