What does anyone know about muscle testing if it's a scam

Or not? I feel if it was just that easy.. All dr's would do this & cure everyone! I had really mixed feelings having this done

Why would you go if you had "really mixed feelings having it done"??

What was the outcome?

Did the pessimist in you override the optimist in you?

Well I was referred to go there & didn't know it was a clinic for that. I am open minded, I just not sure about putting viles on my stomach & testing my arm strength of how accurate that can be. Then it was a pay $1,500 up front for treatments & that was not including herbs or supplements.. So I'm just unsure...

Woah pay up front? I would be weary of that. I assumed you went to a Kineosiologist who does muscle testing but they would not ask for upfront payment like that.

Who recommended that you go there? Did they have personal experience of being treated there?

I would never go to see someone without knowing what treatments or testing they use...always check before you go for your own peace of mind.

They also said they use some kind of bax 3000 lazer machine?? I just don't know.. That's why I wanted to get feedback from anyone that has gone in for muscle testing since I had no clue beforehand going into appt. A friend had gone there & said they helped her with stomach from bug she got in Mexico. She didn't tell me anything or warn me before I went! Ugh, no harm done. I didn't give them $, but I don't want to be closed minded either.. But just seems too easy to just Bingo find your problems in half hour! & then want hefty $ for treatment program

Laser? Never hear of anything like that for digestive disorders. But who knows. Interesting that your friend got treated. I'd like to know a lot more and have many more recommendations for something like that!

Having said that the Kineosiologists muscle testing I have heard of many people finding out what was causing their issues. The treatment after is herbal or some type of supplement that a naturopath would give...never heard of laser treatment.

So what do they do laser your insides? And how?

Ya I didn't get to ask all the questions because my appt was late & they were trying to close. It's some kind of energy based approach to eliminating allergies through laser & computer technology!!!!

Well if they didn't give you time to ask questions than I would forget them altogether.

As far as I am aware IBS cannot be cured only 'managed' either by diet or medication.

I don't see how 'muscle testing' would do anything or even what it is

Sounds like expensive snake oil to me

:) I was trying to be open minded but my intuition was telling me different! & really wanted to hear opinions on this!

I agree with the sceptical comments above. If it was so good why have we not heard about it - where are the studies that prove how effective and SAFE this laser machine is!?!

It's your money and I would consider trying an alternative therapy if conventional therapies have not helped but only if a) I had a recommendation from someone I trusted, ii) the cost was easily affordable to me and iii) the risks negligible.

Paying that much up front does make me concerned its some sort of scam.

Yes that's why I definitely got on here to hear input from others.. If it was just that easy to find your problem & cure it, all naturopathic dr's would be doing! & laser machine?? I wasn't overly thrilled about just jumping to do that! It's called bax 3000 treatment
