Sinus problems question and ibs

This may sound bizarre but I have ibs and chronic right side pelvic pain 14+ years! I suffer a lot with my sinuses and get a lot of headaches which has become worse the past year and so has my ibs! can this all be linked ????

I have suffered from ibs and sinus headaches for years and also felt there was a link. Mucus seems to thicken after certain foods...I started taking Symprove and whilst I get the very occasional headache it seems to have sorted my ins symptoms out. There is definitely a link IMHO between not processing food correctly and headaches and the symprove seems to help break food down properly. I urge you to give it a go...

Hi I found your post very interesting as like you I have suffered from sinus problems all my life along with migraines since I was in my early twenties I am now 42 and yes I have the dreaded IBS was told I had this when I was 18. I have had a gluten free diet for the past 12 years on the advice of a gastroenterologist and I also cut out dairy 5 years ago as my symptoms weren't improving this has helped the IBS and the amount of mucus that is produced to some degree at the back of the throat. Not sure about the right sided pelvic pain unless it's a gynae problem....have you seen a gynaecologist? Just a thought as I also have endometriosis which can aggravate IBS. I hope you get to route of your problems soon x

I am currently looking into changing my diet etc, I have always suffered with migraines since being a young girl and suffered with the symptoms of ibs for 17 years, but only recently diagnosed, I always have mucous at the back of my throat and my sinuses are always stuffy but lately they have been a lot worse, had a bout of sinusitis, even affecting my hearing too. Gp is just waiting for my notes to be sent to him as moved area, then is going to arrange some tests, he also said he will test for bowel cancer too as my Gramps died at 40 from it. I hope I will finally get some concrete results and some pain management.
