Hi All, this is my first post but hoping you may be able to shed some light on all of this for me.
Had a pelvic MRI yesterday, how long usually for the results to come back? The nurse afterwards said they have to pass the results on to gynae & urology (?), then it will go to the gynae team at St Marys and my GP, then I'll be contacted.
Had multiple scans over the years, had one in Feb 2020 which showed a 4cm endometrioma on my c-section scar, along with other 'things'. Been waiting since then for this MRI appt (covid delays).
Currently taking tranexamic acid every period to help with the excessive bleeding, and still classed as provisionally diagnosed; dependent on MRI results they said it will then be the lap.
Also, urology - does that mean that it may be affecting my bladder? Or do all MRI's of this nature have to be checked by them to rule it out?
