Hi, I'm new here after joining up for some advice. We've been through the mill with the diagnosis process for the last 4.5 years and finally getting close to a Laparoscopy! It just feels like every time I see my consultant they come up with another reason to delay the surgery. I'm sure lots of you have had similar issues, so please could you give me some advice on how to push the surgery through? Thanks in advance!

Hi hunny. I've been through the process for over 30yrs. Recently I knew something was wrong again so when I went for my appointment I was adamant I wanted a lap. Basically I sat there with my husband in tears and saying I can't go on like this and feel like throwing myself off the nearest bridge. The doctor then went off to speak to the main consultant and came back with a lap and MRI set up. You literally have to have a breakdown in front of them to see how desperate you are. Not to mention I did actually feel like that. Push hard and demand one as you know that is the only procedure to give a definite answer. X
