Are there any tips or advice that you would pass on to someone going through the brain tumour rehabilitation/recovery process, once surgery/treatment has been completed?

We’d like to use any comments shared here, on our website (anonymously), to help other people going through this.

Hi Zhaleh, These tips maybe some what late in the day for a lot of people but I’ll share anyway. My hospital gave me and sent me me home with Codeine as a pain killer which is notorious for causing constipation. I was also given Movicol as a laxative which wasn’t very strong. I learned this from Op1 and so pre. Op2&3 I agreed with my medical support team my preferred medication. They understood and supported my request and it made such a positive difference to the first couple of months of rehab. A bizarre top tip but hopefully one that can provide a more comfortable rehab period for everyone !!
