It was way back around 2018, I was diagnosed with TB. For some reason I believe I finished taking medication for 5 months more less ( I don't really remember, I was young then) I feel better- no cough, fever, cold sweats, etc. As far as I remember didn't come back to my doctor. Another doctor I checked up one time with told me I just had scarring in my lungs. Fast forward, I was getting my health card - there was a finding on my x-ray I had minimal ptb, right. (Cicatricial atelectasis, right upper lung). My sputum results came out negative. I feel fine. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe have a Lantent TB? and should I repeat the medication, taking anti-tubercolosis again for 6 months even though I believe it's just a scarring in my lungs? Because the people from Health told me to take meds to have a certificate of treatment completion.
Please let me know what your insights on this.
Thank you.
