Latent TB Start of treatment

Hi, I have recently tested positive for TB after a blood test. I had the test as I have RRMS and I was due to start second year of a drug called cladribine which is an immunosupressant. As it turns out second year has been cancelled anyway because of covid 19. I have never had any symptoms and chest x ray was clear. I am on day 3 of 112 of rifampicin. Feel ok so far. 😁 I like a glass of merlot so no booze for 4 months will be a challenge. Will not be impressed if I don't lose at least 1/2 a stone without trying 🤣

Hi Octavia1968 - I'm glad you are doing OK on the latent TB treatment. This will give you one less thing to work about though I agree, avoiding alcohol is a tough one.
