My 6-month treatment of treating active pulmonary tuberculosis ends on July 5th. I had no symptoms. My doctor advised me to do a Bilirubin and ALT(SGPT) blood test at the beginning of July. Will these two confirm my TB condition?
p.s. I did a chest x-ray in March and it came out clear on both sides.

No, they are blood tests to check your liver is ok, because TB drugs can harm your liver. Confirmation of active TB is done right at the beginning you present with symptoms or through diagnostic testing. Nobody would give you these powerful TB drugs without confirmation of the disease.
You will now alway show positive to a blood test for TB so they can’t do that again
The tests you mentioned relate to the liver. Some people have a chest x-ray at the end of treatment. If you have taken the medication, have put on some weight (if you lost weight), if you are eating well and feeling well then that is fantastic!
I am a high school medical student. I would love to chat with you for a few minutes about your story and the struggles you underwent with TB. Let me know if you are able to conduct a quick phone call with me, and I'll share my contact info!!
