Me again. Spoke to doc. Here's the plan if you're interested
He doesn't think I will be on
Xeloda
for the long term, but this buys time to make decisions.

Caring for my grandmother with Mets Breast Cancer.
The doctor has recommended
Xeloda
if she wants to treat it. I was just looking for some insight on the jump or her markers and thoughts on
Xeloda
from others who have used it to help give her more insight to the treatment.

I am curious. I am now going to be put on this since it spread to my liver and her treatment of tamoxifen and afinitor did not work bc my scan last week showed it has continued to spread in my liver. She mentioned I would be taking 8 pills per day broken down into four pills twice per day. And that

Revisiting the Bob Beck protocol for cancer and other illnesses
It’s not a traditional therapy, (although most of what I post here isn’t~) Having been diagnosed stage 4 since 2020, I’m currently on my 4th line of treatment now (
Xeloda
, Herceptin, Tukysa currently).

starting Xeloda (capecitabine)
After 4 lines of treatment I now have to go on
Xeloda
. I’m ER positive Her2 negative type of cancer. I have Mets to my thoracic spine. Originally when diagnosed I had Mets to spine, lungs and a lymph node. I had good success with the hormonal and targeted therapy until now.

What next after Ibrance? - Verzenio, Kisquali, Xeloda & more
Taxotere/Cytoxan seems like a pretty heavy-duty full-on chemo so I'm wondering if
Xeloda
would be a happy medium? many thanks in advance!! - LD

metronomic capecitabine (XELODA)
Hello everyone, my mum ( mets to three mediastinal lymph nodes from 2018) had a Pet scan on Monday and we are awaiting the result (a lot of anxiety obviously, even if with the latest blood tests the TM Ca 15.3 was at 24 (range 0-32) and she started from a 43 at the beginning of all treatments in 2018

Holiday inspiration!
I am from the UK, and was crushed when I had to cancel my planned silver wedding anniversary trip to New England twice, the first time because of the pandemic, and in October last year because of progression and switching to oral chemotherapy (Capecitabine/
Xeloda
).

ENHURTU anyone?
Hi all:) After failing Ibrance,
Xeloda
, and Verzenio I'm moving on to Enhurtu tomorrow. Just looking for the experiences of those who have been, or are, on this treatment. Did you lose your hair, how did you feel between treatments, did you have to get a port, any other crazy side effects?

Please those who were given Xeloda for tumors in the liver that keep growing.
She said the last option is
Xeloda
(capche.....(generic name). I told 8 pills, 4 twice a day for one week and then one week off.

A Wish Fulfilled, and a Legacy
This endeavor, called “Project Renewal,” recently updated the dosage label for the oral chemotherapy drug capecitabine (
Xeloda
) to make it more tolerable, and there will likely be more to come!

Any advice? Considering ending treatment.
So then she gave me
Xeloda
at 8 pills, each 500 mg. Four in the am (after eating) and four in the pm (after eating). I asked her why so high and she said it was based on my height and weight (yes, I am medically obese).

sos- for Lobular ladies with stomach lining spread. Can you help? My Markera jumped 100 pts.
Also worried that onc will tell me that I need to switch to
xeloda
and I can’t be changing medicine and leave for overseas.. so prefer to just stay on Verzenio for the month till I get back. Did your stomach symptoms come out at night? Or only after a meal?

Xeloda and another drug
I wonder if anyone is taking
Xeloda
with another drug. I recently got a surgery to remove endometrial cancer and the biopsy showed spread to abdominal cavity and gyno organs that were removed. I am on
Xeloda
now and it’s helping bones and liver.
